Geared Up Wire Wrapped Tardis Pendant

Explore the far reaches of time with this hand sculpted, one-of-a-kind porcelain tardis pendant. This highly crafted wearable sculpture makes you think of the unique sounds of the tardis, with its ancient gears turning and grinding, and maybe needing a quick pound of the hammer. It is made in several stages. First, the porcelain tardis is sculpted and glazed. Than it is incorporated into a base made of copper and bronze elements joined together using wire wrapping techniques. Details are added and in the last stage, a patina is applied to the entire piece. Then it is burnished for that inside-the-tardis, time before time, antique look. Finally, two coats of sealer are applied so the finish stays the way I made it . Black and clear epoxy detailing adds to the artistry and strength of the amazing piece.
