Carnelian & Unconstructed Copper Weave - Wire Wrapped Pendant

Fiery and Bold. A rich orange carnelian nugget is cradled in a tight, but unconstructed copper weave. Adding to the intentional asymmetry of the piece are eight carnelian teardrop beads. Some of the beads have a small amount of movement. The carnelian cabochon itself is layered and has some druzy showing in a lower layer. This is an interesting, unusual and daring piece. Definitely not for the conservative fashionista! 

The copper is polished and has a nice rich patina to bring out the detail in the wire work. This piece has a smooth feel and a really nice weight.
